It's getting easier to count Atlantic Yards supporters who haven't gone to jail or been indicted, but DDDB takes a shot at it.
Yesterday marked the latest indictment of Forest City Ratner cronies, partners and strident Atlantic Yards supporters/operatives. Here's the tally:
Salvester (Sal) Zarzana, former head of a Carpenters Union Local and high-profile, shrill cheerleader for Atlantic Yards, indicted for extortion and identified as a soldier for the Genovese organized crime family.)
Disgraced State Senator Carl Kruger, also a shrill Atlantic Yards cheerleader, and Ratner funded former pol, indicted and pled guilty to federal bribery and corruption charges. Crooned an aria about Atlantic Yards at the environmental review hearing, and had a colorful discussion with now departed Ratner fixer Bruce Bender. Also went to bat for Ratner at State Senate hearing on Atlantic Yards in effort to sweeten the MTA Vanderbilt Yards sweetheart deal.
Disgraced Atlantic Yards lobbyist and shrill, hypocritical blogger Richard Lipsky indicted and pled guilty to federal bribery charges.
