Getting to Galapagos without the L train

The "L" train is not running this weekend! (Why should anything be easy, right?)

Never fear, however. There are alternate roads to Williamsburgh for those of us who don't already live there. These include:

  1. The MTA shuttle bus from Union Square.

  2. The "G" train to Metropolitan (and walk)

  3. The "J, M, Z" trains to Marcy (an ambitious walk--head down Broadway to Bedford, turn right on Bedford, walk up to North 6th Street and turn right on N 6th until you hit Galapagos).

  4. Brooklyn buses (click below for a bus map)

  5. Bring 3 friends and split a car service
