Case dismissed

The Brooklyn Paper

Brooklyn Paper usually gets the story straight, but this legal stuff seems to be making all the reporters cross-eyed (that is, except Norman Oder and, believe it or not, the Times):

The Paper reported:

State officials cheered the decision, which affirmed a February recommendation by a special judicial master that the federal case should be dismissed and refiled in state court.

aritcle

NoLandGrab: Actually, Judge Garaufis's decision CONTRADICTED the opinion of the Judicial Magistrate Levy.

Levy concluded that the case should be refiled in State Court.

Garaufis concluded that Levy was wrong, but that the case shouldn't proceed because he thought that the plaintiffs would not ultimately be able to prove their case.
