CB6 Cuts Summer Short to Tackle Massive Yards Study

This neighborhood doesn’t [deserve] to be torn down any more than Bruce Ratner’s home or Mayor Bloomberg’s or Marty Markowitz’s,” said opponent Lee Anderson, referring to supporters of the project from the president of FCR to the Borough President.

“We are not interested in the Manhattan-ization of Brooklyn. Brooklyn is Brooklyn and that is why we choose to live here,” said Janet Zimmerman, who has lived in the area for more than 20 years.
