Public Hearings On Atlantic Yards Set; Many Decry Bad Timing

Holding a public hearing on the Atlantic Yards project during the dog days of summer is a gross injustice, according to opponents and the community boards in which the project footprint sits.“It violates the spirit of the law to hold it while the community boards are in recess,” said City Councilmember Letitia James.
