Spitzer Praises Robert Moses, Cross Harbor
In the wake of Jane Jacob's death, some politicians quoted her or paid tribute to her ideas. Spitzer chooses to celebrate Robert Moses instead. New York Sun:
Spitzer praised Robert Moses and said another biography of the master planner could be titled "At least he got it built." [updated]Spitzer supports the Cross Harbor Tunnel, which is opposed by Mike Bloomberg and activists in Brooklyn and Queens.
