Atlantic Yards and Black Business Development

Our Time Press

In his pointed rebuttal to TimesRatnerReporter Norman Oder, Errol Louis states:

Opponents of the proposed $3.5 billion Atlantic Yards Project have a strategy of spreading innuendo and personal attacks against any and everyone who thinks the plan should be improved rather than scrapped. Much of the smear campaign is conducted through Web sites and blogs that endlessly cross-reference one another, creating the false impression that a groundswell of popular opposition to the project is rising.

NoLandGrab is opposed to use of eminent domain for the Atlantic Yards project (though not opposed to development of the railyards). However, we have not attacked "any and everyone who thinks the plan should be improved rather than scrapped." In fact, NoLandGrab hasn't taken a swipe at Mr. Louis, and feels that his sweeping generalization is an example of the hyperbole which he condemns.
